While playing MotoGP 2 on the PS2, the car races with another car in the background. I'm not getting the sound of the motors as I should. The car in the background is racing fine, and I'm getting the engine sound. Any help would be great.
I think the problem is that this is just how the game is designed. I think you can play it with the motors off as well.

I'm getting the same problem. I'm playing on the Hard difficulty with the other car. I get the soundtrack fine, but I don't get the bike engines, and the others don't have sound at all.

I've noticed this too. It sounds like the game is not playing sounds for cars behind the player. Have you tried turning your vehicle's sound on.

Not sure how this would be useful, but while playing on hard difficulty with the other car, at the end of the race, the background car gets out of the way, so there is now only the player and the other car remaining. They both turn left on the starting straight and meet about 2/3 of the way down, with the bike turn being a bit more severe than the other cars. Do I need to play the course again?
